By a Principal, Mom, Wellness Coach, and Your Accountability Partner

I’ve worn and weat many hats, school leader, mom, coach to athletes and adultsan, d one thing I know for sure is this: motivation isn’t handed to you, it’s invested. It starts when you believe in your vision. When you know you’re worthy of the life, energy, and success you crave.

I wish I could give you all the steps, but here’s the truth: Step one is wanting it enough to move.

Let’s break this down…

1️⃣ Are You Really Ready?

Whenever I begin working with someone, I ask: “Are you ready? Like really ready?” Not just for a temporary high, but for the daily grind, commitment, patience, and the courage to silence the noise around you. The reason, yes other people’s opinions do matter, but they’re not your truth.

🔍 Learn to filter in what grows you and filter out what blurs your vision.

2️⃣ Mindset Meets Action

Once you’re in, fully in, here’s where we start layering mindset with movement, because goals don’t just happen, they are built by what you do daily.

✔ Power Statements – Rewire your thoughts, take control.

✔ Daily & Weekly Actions – Move toward your goals.

Your action toolkit might look like:

• 🥗 Meal prep to fuel your body

• 🏋️‍♀️ Workout routine to energize your mind

• ⏰ Timers for mindset check-ins

• 📅 Calendar blocking – including “YOU” time

• 🧠 Weekly brain dumps – prioritize with clarity

**Time isn’t the issue—**prioritizing is.

I know so many people have heard… “put your oxygen mask on first” this isn’t just a cute phrase. It’s about managing cortisol and stress so you can be emotionally, mentally, and physically aligned.

When you invest in you, everything else benefits:

• Better sleep

• More energy

• Stable mood

• Even your libido improves (yes, really!)

3️⃣ Reflect to Stay Connected

Growth isn’t just about going—it’s about checking in.

Each week, pause and ask:

• 💭 How am I doing—really?

• ❤️ How have I cared for me?

• 🧩 What’s been a challenge, and how did I respond?

• 🔄 What can I shift next week?

• 🤝 Who do I need to connect with?

The Bottom Line: Goal setting isn’t a one time event, it’s a daily investment, a daily decision.

Invest in your energy.

Invest in your mindset.

Invest in your vision.
