Want results? Use the 5% mindset!

– 5% is what you have to tap into when you want to change a habit, a mindset, or the way you make decisions.

– 5% is your conscious mind, and 95% is your unconscious “what you do without thinking!”

Imagine being able to tap into the 5% to make change, shift your perspective, and alter your thought patterns – all to shift the way you show up.

It is possible!

Here is how…

1) Make sure you identify out loud to yourself what it is you want to change, start with something small. For example, I want to change my routine in the morning to be more productive. Be specific and label “workout, or get one chore done, or journal.” Name it in order to begin it.

2) Every day, a minimum of 2x per day, write or say out loud, looking at yourself in the mirror, what you want to change and state it! Say what you want in the present, make your mind believe it.

3) Find 1-2 habits (actions) that will connect to that “want” that “change” you are looking for. For example, if I want to be more productive in the morning, say exercise is what I identify then block 20-30min for that action. You may have to start with just learning to wake up 20-30min earlier, then move into actually exercising (small steps=success).

4) Clear away all the outside noise telling you that it’s not possible or that you can’t. The outside noise is an influencer, and you need to know what to filter in and what to filter out. You may have people say “just sleep in, you don’t need to exercise, or staying up late and not sticking to your habit that is important to you!”

5) Focus on things that affirm your wants. What you read, what you say, and think, and the people you surround yourself with help to either hinder or increase the chances of tapping into the 5% for change.

Remember that your body will do what your mind tells it. Your body won’t perform if you don’t believe it. Everybody has a door that is waiting for them to open, sometimes more than one. But most of us just let things happen the way they happen, and that door never opens! That’s okay if you’re not looking for more doors. Just know that if you want a change, you need to be the first step! The key to unlock that door is in your 5% and that is how you tap into it!
